Portraits

Portraits of people, real and imagined: musicians, warriors, weathered faces and pharaohs. A portrait is judged on likeness and the eyes, so it starts with the best reference you can find.

In motion

Portraits, filmed in the studio.

Realism portraits look different in person. These two large-scale portraits were filmed the day they were finished.

About portraits tattoos

A good portrait tattoo starts with a sharp, well-lit reference, ideally a high-resolution photo with clear detail in the eyes. Dylan works from your reference and builds the likeness slowly over the session, so skin texture, hair and expression read clearly as the tattoo heals. [Dylan: add how you approach portraits and the references you need.]
